So I insist that I’m still going to be a Rian/JB cheerleader. LOL. I mean, why does it seem like the loyal past lovers/friends get the short end of the stick in Korean dramas? I like Haesung and JYJ, but really they are such tools. I get the lead girl is usually a dopey, uber gullible, super selfless person…. but damn why does the rival HAVE to be a mean and evil character? If you haven’t seen the last episode yet, read no further. In Ep 11 you finally get to know why JB and Rian broke up. And it sucks that she was so loyal to him and he drops her using a promise he made to his father as an excuse, but here he is letting it all go for a girl that was originally a fan and then declared that she was no longer one. And there are times when Rian’s jealousy is understandable but why do the writer’s HAVE to make her do such nasty things? And why is JB such a jerk to the fact that he broke her heart and so open about liking Haesung in front of Rian? The character development in this season was lacking and unrealistic (more so than usual). In the first season the transitions the characters when through were easier to understand. Here, it just feels like everybody else is getting the short end of the bargain just so that the main love line will work.

I started watching the drama because of Jiyeon. I really love her as an actress and I think it’s time her manager got her a role where she doesn’t have to be so cold and gets screwed in the drama.
